A fan gives them a dare – burn a million and they fire up in reply, in a fiery night time display. Then Adam and Jamie decide to up the ante even higher themselves by seeing if match heads alone have the explosive punch to fire a homemade cannon. The results stun even our Mythbusting duo. In Lego Roll, Kari, Tory and Grant roll out a YouTube hit – a 7-foot ball of Lego that careers down the streets of San Francisco. The team scours all North America for tiny plastic bricks. Then in one of Mythbuster’s biggest builds, a million Lego bricks are transformed into a rolling weapon of mass destruction. The target – a family car at the bottom of a very steep hill. The result – something the team won’t forget in a hurry. Finally in Spinning Tire of Fire, Adam and Jamie are only too happy to heed a fan’s web request – burning car rubber to see if they can actually set a tire on fire. In a series of tests using a flexed up muscle car they up the heat and the revs, adding sparks and gas in a tire shredding, noisy smoke-filled test that the boys love best. There are big blowouts along the way as Jamie puts the pedal to the metal. When the smoke clears after the final tire test some surprising results are revealed about how rubber meets the road.

Using the propane tank explosion from the James Bond Special and the fan favourite ‘sawdust cannon’ they get the answers to the questions you posed. Then it’s off to the movies for the 80’s nerd classic Real Genius. The scene in question involves a giant laser, a house full of popcorn and destruction of said house! To find out if there’s any science in this science fiction sounding scenario the team use lasers to cook corn, fill an entire house with popcorn and of course destroy a house!

And would she survive the ordeal? The Seesaw Saga sees Adam and Jamie scare the neighbours with a spectacular test-drop in the car park behind M5. Tory, Grant and Kari are drafted to double check the details for the boys - that involves a reverse bungee jump from a very high bridge and another leap from 2 miles high to judge the speed of the hapless skydiver. While Kari constructs the fall-guy, Jamie designs and builds what just might be the world’s lightest, strongest and most effective teeter-totter. It’s an engineering marvel that Jamie is justly proud of but will it hurl the girl 70 feet high? And can it survive the crippling impact of an average man falling at terminal velocity? They take the myth to San Francisco’s Mare Island Naval Shipyard, which is a spectacle in itself. Every aspect of the elaborate procedure is carefully rigged and dialled-in for the arrival of Jamie’s super seesaw. The result remains in doubt till the very last launch but by the end of the show, you’ll believe a girl can fly.

The team gets some northern exposure as they pack up their sleds, their brass monkeys and their ingenuity for Alaska Special, The Return. In Ice Boat, Adam and Jamie kick things off by heading north to plunge head long into an engineering conundrum and arguably the most challenging build in MythBusters history, in World War 2 iron and steel were in limited supply so the British Navy sent out a request to engineers - find us something new to build ships with. And Geoffrey Pyke answered that call by inventing Pykrete - a composite material made of sawdust and ice. Pyke genuinely suggested you could make boats out of this stuff. However, because the war soon ended, no boat was ever made….until now! The boys start off by testing some of the mythical properties of Pykrete - is it really bullet proof? Is it really tougher than concrete and does it really melt much slower than regular ice? But then there’s no escaping it - they are going to have to build the world’s first pykrete boat, put it out to sea in Alaska and put their lives on the line. Meanwhile in Snowplough Split, Kari, Tory and Grant split up! Well, not literally but they’re testing a spectacular myth that’s all about bifurcation. The story goes that one dark, wintry night in the frozen north, an old fashioned V-shaped snowplough was busy cleaning the roads. As the snow got heavier, visibility got worse and worse. So bad that the plough driver pulled over onto the side of the road. But moments later, the mother of all head long collisions! A car heading in the opposite direction had skidded on the ice and ploughed headlong into the plough. And it’s then that something incredible happened - the car was not a mangled mess, instead it had been split completely in twain from bumper to fender. What’s more is both car driver and passenger were completely unscathed but in two separate halves of the vehicle! But is this really possible? The guys plan to head to Alaska but in a strange curveball end up in Wisconsin to put this snowy saga to the test. They drive some snowploughs, assess their speeds, see the carnage they can cause and then go for it full scale. With front engine cars and rear engine cars towed headlong into a snowplough with a freshly sharpened V, it’s the myth put to the ultimate test.

First, Adam and Jamie do the Car Cling when they set out to see if it really is possible to cling to the roof of a speeding and swerving car like they do in the action movies. You know the ones – the villain escapes in his car but in the nick of time the hero leaps onto the roof or hood and clings on for dear life while the evil driver swerves, curves and brakes to a sudden halt. To get their answer and to prevent killing themselves in the process, the guys build a giant safety rig on top of the car to catch them should they slide off heading head first for the tarmac. Meanwhile Kari, Tori and Grant are challenged once again by the fans to solve more outlandish jailbreak myths. In Floss To Freedom, the team need to find out if it is possible to break out of jail by cutting their way through solid steel bars using dental floss! Kari and Grant try doing it by hand and quickly realize they would be out on good behaviour before they flossed their way through one bar. So Grant puts his incredible robot resources to work and builds the ‘ultimate flossing robot’. Cannonball Escape, the second jailbreak myth, is more ‘high octane’ but just as bizarre. A preposterous prison tale from the 18th century claims that a prisoner once put his ball and chain - shackled to his ankle in the prison ceremonial cannon and fired himself over the prison wall to freedom. To find out if this is possible, Tori builds his own 18th century cannon. Then with convict Buster, the crash test dummy, as the victim, they head out to the bomb range to see if the myth is true.

First it’s a Sonic Boom Sound Off because Adam and Jamie want to know if a sonic shock wave can shatter glass. Using 50-calibre banana sized slugs travelling at 1,984 mph, more than twice the speed of sound, they find out if the accompanying sonic shock wave will break glass. Then Adam hitches a supersonic ride with the Navy’s Flight Demonstration Squadron, the world renowned Blue Angels. Will the sonic boom he creates as he flies over Jamie’s head smash an assortment of windows and glassware? And just as importantly will his stomach cope with the 7 and half G manoeuvres? Will Adam blow chunks for science? Meanwhile in Bending a Bullet Kari, Grant and Tory take on this seasons most requested myth. In another tall tale from tinsel town the team investigate the movie Wanted. Angelina and Co can bend bullets around obstacles with a side arm flick of the wrist and you want to know if it’s actually possible. So our obliging gun-toting trio get right down to it and try it themselves before breaking it down and bringing in Grant’s gun-slinging robot! Is it more fake film physics or like a curve ball in baseball can you really bend it like Brangelina?

There’s fire, there’s ice and there’s some seriously heavy metal. Have you got the mettle for it? First up, Adam and Jamie go viral once again. In Thermite vs Ice, they’re testing a classic internet video that on the surface seems pretty far fetched. Thermite is a strange chemical concoction that has an incredible property - it burns at almost 2000 degrees. So if you poured some thermite onto some ice, you’d think that the ice would melt faster than a glacier in Greenland but that’s not what this viral video shows. Rather than melt away, the ice when in contact with the thermite quite simply explodes. Armed with way more ice than the video and an unhealthy amount of thermite they head to the bomb range to put the You into YouTube. When the unexpected happens, the MythBusters are staring down the barrel at one of the most dangerous outcomes they’ve ever had. Meanwhile Kari, Tory and Grant are sounding off about another myth. Woofer Weaponry is not about guard dogs on steroids, it’s a myth that comes from the seedy underworld of the Russian mafia. Supposedly, a Russian gangster pulled up at the traffic lights and decided to impress the local ladies. So he turned his stereo all the way up to 11 so they could hear how beefy his bass was. But that’s when it all went pear-shaped because sitting on the backseat were two of his gangster cronies, each holding an SKS rifle. The massive vibrations caused by the souped up stereo were so big that suddenly the guns starting firing off at random. No longer did said Russian gangster look so cool. Kari, Tory and Grant start by unearthing some incredible facts about the SKS. Armed with that info, they then build the mother of all stereo systems - but will it be enough to cause this unique combat rifle to fire at will? And if not, then rest assured, this team will take this story to the max. Then, as the smoke settles, Adam and Jamie also join in with guns blazing. In Handgun Horror, they’re testing a rather grizzly story about a novice shooter. Invited to shoot a certain powerful handgun for the first time, said shooter gripped the gun in the wrong place, pulled the trigger and bam…his thumbs was blown clean off. Can the escaping gases from a gun really be that destructive? Armed with very same gun and a stand in hand courtesy of, well, you guessed it, some chickens, Adam and Jamie take aim to find out!

In a world first, Adam and Jamie test the classic physics textbook theory Bullet Dropped Verses Bullet Fired. If a bullet is fired and a bullet is dropped simultaneously from the same height, will they both hit the ground at the same time? In theory gravity says they will because it treats each slug in exactly the same way – but this scientifically complex experiment is so difficult to do, no one has ever tried it… until now. Meanwhile in Knock Your Socks Off, Kari, Grant and Tory test whether it is ever really possible to knock someone out of their socks. The saying ’Knock Your Socks Off’ originates from the world of boxing so first the team dress crash test dummy Buster up as a boxer and put him in the ring with Grant’s super lethal Nitrogen Cannon. The cannon fires an industrial strength rubber fist powered by 500 psi of force to Buster’s jaw with devastating results, but does it knock Buster out of his socks? No way. Next the team decide they need more power, so Buster is placed in the path of a giant battering ram and hit with over 17,000 pounds of force but there’s still no Knock Your Socks Off success. Finally the team up the testing ante with explosives. They set up a series of dummy legs in concentric circles at varying distances from a 500-pound explosion – some wearing shoes and socks, some only socks. Their aim is not only to test which legs get their socks blown off but which legs - if it were actually a human standing in the blast zone would live to tell the tale.

First up Adam and Jamie test the limits of the mythical materials strength in Duct Tape Car Lift. Has humble old duct tape really got the tensile strength and sticking power to lift a 5,000 lb car into the air? Of course they start with something a little smaller. Adam! Then in Duct Tape Boat Repair, the guys ask will it keep your boat afloat? Adrift on the on the cold waters, our salty seadog Hyneman and Capn’ Savage attempt to patch their holy dinghy with the miracle material in question. But they can’t leave it there. Following in the great MythBusters tradition of nautical adventures the team set themselves the challenge of building a sail boat entirely from duct tape. Do they sink or swim? Meanwhile in Duct Tape Cannon Kari, Grant and Tory go ballistic. First they’re indulging in the dark, dangerous and destructively fun art of the potato cannon. Can you really replace PVC cement, one of the toughest adhesives around with just duct tape? And finally, in surely a world first, the team set themselves the challenge of making an actual black powder cannon from, yup you guessed it, duct tape!

The myth contends that a house will suffer significantly less damage in a major storm if all the windows are actually left open. Small-scale tests at a nearby NASA research facility provide some very clear data, so it’s off to The University of Florida to test a bigger house with the world’s largest portable hurricane simulator. The MythBusters huff and puff their way towards a spectacular conclusion - is there really a difference between ‘windows open’ and ‘windows closed’? Meantime Kari, Grant and Tory tackle two frigid fables involving liquid nitrogen. In Shattered Head, they try to recreate a famous scene from a horror movie where the villain dunks the victim’s head in LN2 for 5 seconds, then shatters it on the counter. Skulls, brains and ‘smash-hammers’ are all deployed to make or break this myth. Kari survives potential suffocation and an unintended depilation, admitting at the end that nothing she’s ever seen on the show was quite as disgusting as this. Now that’s a recommendation! Then in Frozen Tree, they investigate a very unusual urban legend that, if true, could potentially ruin your Christmas. The myth goes that a huge amount of liquid nitrogen leaked onto a Christmas tree, causing the water inside the trunk to snap-freeze, expand and explode the tree. With their customary diligence, flair for danger and a whole truckload of LN2, the team sets out to confirm or bust this incredible tale.

The team dives into hells kitchen to test two frightening potential kitchen catastrophes. First, Adam and Jamie fire up a full flaming run away Grease Fire on a kitchen stove to see if throwing a cup of water onto it will create a 30-foot fireball. After some small-scale flame throwing they build and move their ‘extreme Kitchen’ to a desolate spot and test-drive a number of scary fireball scenarios. Plus they see what dizzying heights can be produced with those basic kitchen ingredients, water oil and fire. Eventually Adam does discover an extremely unorthodox, but very effective, way to extinguish a grease fire with water. Kari, Tory and Grant start off by putting their heads in an oven to see if you really can set off C4 In A Microwave. Their myth was instigated by the movie Gross Point Blank. In a famous scene a Bad Guy is engaged in a shoot out in a convenience store, he puts an intricately wired block of C4 into the store microwave, sets it to 60 seconds and runs out. As the clock hits zero the bomb explodes. But is it movie make believe or a genuine way to set off a C4? The team take their ovens and their theories down to the firing range where Grant gets swept away by the bomb squad’s cute-as robot. Then Grant, Kari and Tory investigate a seafaring food myth from long ago. The story goes that in 1840 a certain Captain Coe was fighting a losing sea battle and ran out of canon balls. Desperate times call for desperate measures so he hit upon the plan of using Edam cheese as canon balls. Allegedly it shredded his opponent’s sails and won the day for Coe. The MythBusters set sail and fire a broadside of cheese into a period correct sail to see if Cheese Cannonballs have a whiff of truth about them or is it just a myth that stinks?

It’s an evolution revolution as the team takes five fan favourites and focuses on a fascinating new facet for each. First up, Adam and Jamie try to raise the roof. Literally. When they first fired a water heater through a house, it was undeniably spectacular but fans weren’t happy. The house the guys used was a bungalow and most homes in the US are a little taller to say the least! So due to fan demand, the guys return to this story with an extra storey to find out if a water heater rocket can really blow up through your roof if it starts in the basement. There’s high pressure and a load of hot air, which is a clever way of saying that this story’s a blast. Next up, the MythBusters think outside the box. In Car Roof Cling, Adam and Jamie got a grip Hollywood style as they tested if you could really hold on to a moving car through zigs zags and even sudden stops. But viewers spotted an omission and it’s a classic omission. The cardboard box. It’s strange but every Hollywood back alley has a stack and when trying to throw someone off your car, they make the perfect obstacle but will an encumbrance of cardboard really do the trick. Meanwhile Kari, Tory and Grant test another myth from the movie Wanted. Having busted the idea that bullets can curve through the air, they’re taking the story up a notch. The movie also portrays another piece of ballistics brilliance - the Corner Shot - a gun that can apparently shoot around corners. Does it exist? Fans want to know! Then the guys get all cool as they focus on a liquid nitrogen myth that slipped through the net. Since that episode aired, fans have written, emailed and even phoned up to ask why we didn’t test if liquid nitrogen can really make it easier to Pick a Lock. Well rest assured, they’re doing that right now and finally they’re ending with a bang. Remember Snowplough Split? A car allegedly ploughed into a plough and was split completely in half from bumper to fender. But when the guys put this to the test, they found it was totally and utterly busted. But fans want more! Back then Kari, Tory and Grant only tested the circumstances of the myth - they didn’t replicate the results…until now. Fans have asked us to find out if under any super-sized circumstances, a car could ever be split in twain. And that means it’s time to unpack some rockets and get a snowplough to travel supersonic!

Buckle up cos it’s going to be a bumpy ride. First up, Adam and Jamie get down and dirty with the myth that a muddy motorcar gets better mileage than it’s clean cousin. According to the theory, by adding a layer of crud to your car you create a ‘golf ball’ like effect cutting down drag and reducing fuel consumption. So to put this Dirty Car myth to the test Adam and Jamie get their hands dirty testing the fuel efficiency of a filthy automobile and then a clean machine. But to get to the bottom of this myth they’ll have to get to grips with golf ball aerodynamics and after hitting the links in the name of research, they find out just how crucial the simple dimple is in golf ball flight. In true MythBusters style, they create the strangest looking vehicle ever to grace the screen, as they find out if a ‘golf ball’ like effect really can save you cash. Meanwhile Kari, Grant and Tory are hitting the sauce to test the old drinking adage ‘Stick to beer you’re in the clear, beer then liquor ever sicker’. In The Morning After myth, they’re comparing hangovers to find out if it really is true that your hangover will be worse if you mix your drinks. Tory and Grant volunteer to drink for science so it falls to Kari to monitor just how bad their hangovers are. She’s nothing but thorough and creates the ‘Throne of Moan’ - a finely tuned torture testing device that can detect every last painful symptom. Then it’s over to the boys as they give up their freedom to start testing the myth and one thing is for sure, this is going to get ugly. After spending a booze free night in the shop, they set their control baselines in Kari’s ‘Throne of Moan’. Then the drinking begins and we don’t want to give anything away but Grant and Tory take their scientific duties very seriously. So which hangover will turn out worse? Who will vomit first, Tory or Grant? Does drinking beer and spirits really leave you feeling sicker?

There are thrills and spills galore as Adam and Jamie test a classic that’s been around in tinsel-town since the motorcar was invented. Picture this scene - two cars are having a high-speed chase deep in the countryside. They’re overtaking, undertaking and generally weaving around like maniacs. It’s only a matter of time before one of them loses control. And that’s when disaster strikes. Unable to slow down or steer, one of the cars scoots off the side of the road and plunges into a ravine below. Down and down it tumbles, bouncing off the cliff face until it reaches the bottom. Whereupon, guess what, it explodes into a huge ball of fire. The Crash and Burn fable has MythBusters written all over it! And it’s no surprise that the guys drive straight into the deep end by simply driving a whole bunch of cars off a 150-foot cliff onto a quarry floor below. Will they get that fireball they’re looking for? And if not, why not? Has it to do with engine temperature, or gasoline vapours? It’s a gnarly old problem but one that won’t get the better of the MythBusters. Meanwhile in Rocketman, Kari, Tory and Grant also ramp the spectacle up to 11, as they test an extraordinary story about the world’s first rocketeer. Lagari Hasan Çelebi was an Ottoman Turk who according to legend was the first person to have made a successful manned rocket flight. According to an account given by Evliya Çelebi in the 17th century, Lagari Hasan Çelebi was launched in the air in a rocket from Sarayburnu, the point below Topkapı Palace in Istanbul. He built himself a cage, which he attached one giant blackpowder rocket to. After the ascent Lagari is said to have made a slow descent into the Bosphorus using wings attached to his body. But the Hyneman is still not satisfied and thanks to having friends in the right places, he makes sure that this myth ends with some of the most stunning MythBusters spectacle in MythBusters history. Meanwhile in Fireworks Man, Kari, Tory and Grant test the myth that a European maverick strapped 500 over-the-counter fireworks onto a special suit, ignited them and then flew to 200 feet over a lake before crash-landing to soggy glory. It’s a tall tale that sees them explode fireworks at the bomb range, build lethal small scale prototypes before they unleash hell at a peaceful quarry. Meanwhile Kari, Tory and Grant take on a gale force myth in Tornado Decapitation. With winds over 200 mph tornadoes can transform everyday items into lethal projectiles. According to this myth a tornado could even suck the glass out of a window and hurl it through the air like a Frisbee, turning it into a flying guillotine. So, could glass whipped up by tornadoes turn deadly? To find out the MythBusters won’t be putting their own necks on the line, once again, they employ a porcine pal to stand in as a human analogue. ‘Neckman’ and the team head to the runaway to simulate the flight path of flying glass. But it’s just not MythBusters unless someone builds a robot so the team engineer a high tech tornado-tossing device to really find out if a pane of glass could knock your block off.

Capable of blasting out thrust at over 180,000 pounds, the 747 is the ultimate tornado simulator. Reed and Sean’s vehicles get lined up directly in the jet stream of the massive plane - first at 160 miles an hour and then at 250. Will it be sink or swim? Will they fly away or pass with flying colours? Rest assured the result is 100% spectacular! But being in a souped up SUV when a tornado approaches is one thing, what happens if you’re outside with nowhere to run or hide? Big problem? Well not if the MythBusters can come up with a personal tornado protector. Back in the shop, the prototyping begins where the guys run a series of tests using debris impact air cannons, wind tunnel simulators and scale models before it’s time to go full scale. Jamie crouches in what amounts to an armoured tent and lies behind the 747 as its thrust is turned to the max. These dogs are specifically trained to find a particular substance but that is no guarantee they can’t be fooled by a snoot-full of coffee or a strong perfume or even dirty diapers. Then there’s finding that scent in a crowd of two hundred replete with some major distractions. We start with a silent “dog whistle” and finish with the ultimate distraction and attraction - the male sniffer-dog and a female in heat. Can man truly outsmart his best friend? Rest assured that we’ll give it our best and we might try to bend the rules in our favour.

Getting behind the wheel slightly inebriated is a worrying task but it’s even worse when you have to fulfil a full driving exam. Then it’s a long time between naps as our sleep deprivation guinea pigs stay awake for thirty hours straight. It’s a bizarre idea that leads to perhaps the most bizarre race off in the history of motoring but more of that later because the guys take the sharp eye of science to this motorised myth and hit up NASA to learn a bit about aerodynamics and acceleration -with model cars and a very unique wind-tunnel that’s full of water! After NASA, it’s the real thing as Adam and Jaime go big and take a classic sports car from the era and race it forwards before ripping it apart and flipping the body on it 180 degrees, creating a backwards-mobile that Adam races against the clock. You literally won’t believe your eyes as you see the red racer clock 100 miles an hour backwards. But with some pretty tight results the guys hatch a plan to settle this myth with one truly strange race. While Adam and Jaime are off causing automotive anarchy, Kari, Tory and Grant hit the freeway for some Surf and Turf. They are testing a classic scene from the 80s movie - Lethal Weapon 2. During a particularly dramatic car chase, the bad guy gets his comeuppance in the most unusual of ways – a complex series of car-crashes ahead of him on the road results in a surfboard flying off the roof of a van, flying through the air and through the bad guy’s windshield causing instant death. But can this be true? Can a surfboard ever become a lethal projectile? Testing the Surf and Turf Myth is another jalopy-destroying jaunt as Kari gets behind the wheel and sends five cars to the great junkyard in the sky…all in the name of science.

Meanwhile Kari, Grant and Tory have a myth on the brain, Brain Drain. This myth is so widely believed it even made it to an episode of the Simpsons. Supposedly humans only use 10% of their total brain capacity but will this myth prove true or turn out to be a brain-power fallacy? To get to the truth, our trio of brainiacs first devise a devious brain game show, BrainBusters. Grant is the unfortunate host chosen for the hot seat while Kari and Tory take him through an extensive and mind-bending series of challenges to see just what his brain can do when it is put to the ultimate test. Then they call in the neuroscientists as they quiz, poke and probe Tory’s lobes to find out just how much and how little his brain is capable off. Will it turn out to be more than the mythical 10%?

Can milk stop the muzzle flash of a gun from igniting a room full of methane? It doesn’t come up much in daily life but when Morgan Freeman endorses the milk, it’s got our attention. The story goes that a speeding biker was fatally floored by a bug strike. Does this myth fly in the face of physics or could an insect impact really be deadly? A visit to the doctor proves fruitful when he confirms that this myth isn’t as ridiculous as it seems. After their second opinion the team get going, grab some bugs and head out to Alameda where, with the help of a headless rider, they rev this myth up to get to the truth. Getting this myth up to speed however is harder than they thought so they’ll have to bring on the big, big, bugs! In the scene in question, Britt Reid, aka The Green Hornet and his tech savvy sidekick Kato, are in their iconic car the Black Beauty when a bulldozer buries them sideways. Adding to their woes the bulldozer is then parked on top of them but Kato being the brains of the outfit has an explosive escape plan. Hiding behind the armoured seats he detonates the eight rockets mounted at the front of the car which blasts the bulldozer up, up and away, clearing out the earth that covered them and allowing our dynamic duo to escape unharmed. To find out if this is Hollywood hyperbole or actually possible, Adam, Jamie and Seth re-create the silver screen scene and have a little TNT party. Then in Elevator Car Cut, Seth requests that Kari, Grant and Tory take on another action sequence from the movie. The Green Hornet and Kato again find themselves in a jam. After being shot up by bad guys they crash into an elevator. The elevator, as they do, goes up and slices the car in half. Our heroes then make good their escape by driving off in the front half of the car. So, could an elevator bifurcate a car and could the front half be driven successfully? To answer this dual part tall tale, the team build their own elevator from three and a half tons of steel, chop a car in half and take half a car to the racetrack.

First they failed to fire up a ship using a giant mirror array, then they failed once more when they used 300 mirrors balanced on stands. But the President has recognised one thing they didn’t use - Manpower. Could five hundred people each holding their own mirror finally cause a ship to burst into flame? To find out, Adam and Jamie return to San Francisco with a bunch of ideas and a feeling of immense pressure! After developing a unique mirror aiming system, the guys liaise with the people running the President’s STEM initiative and hey presto the scene is set - one ancient Roman boat complete with salty sea dog Hyneman and five hundred mid and high school kids all set to light a fire for science! In a series of mental and physical challenges, each one of the team is first stressed and then stressed and slapped to see if a rap on the cheek makes a difference. The deep - full of mystery, full of danger and also full of myths - so there have been just as many MythBusters high jinks under water. Adam dove in a suit of armor, Jamie in a full tuxedo and meat-man took to the deep in an antiquated diving suit. When it comes to taking a dip with Nature’s deadliest catch…try doing it at night. As the hosts will tell you, the scariest thing about a bump in the night underwater is that you know it’s got teeth! In terms of myths on the water, well for that we’re going to need a bigger boat! Where there’s water there’s boats and where there’s MythBusters there’s destruction. Put those together and you get boat destruction! Yep, we’ve sunk ‘em, raised ‘em, torpedo’d ‘em and even tried to spectacularly split ‘em. But it’s not just a destructive relationship, Adam and Jamie have created plenty of crafty craft, from a boat out of raincoats, to a boat out of duct tape and even a boat powered by air cylinders.
