    Summary

Highlights of Series 8 of this BAFTA-winning show include a car versus a jet-powered kayak race in Iceland, three self-built cars assembled in the futile hope that they will work on water, Richard racing the RAF's freefall parachute display team in Cyprus, our car football champions playing a team from Brazil, and the presenters holidaying in their most-despised vehicle (the caravan). Chef Gordon Ramsay, Formula One legend Sir Jackie Stewart, world champion Jenson Button, and actors Ewan McGregor, Sir Michael Gambon, Brian Cox, and Steve Coogan are featured.

    Summary

Series nine of the hugely popular motoring show sees the boys embark on an epic road trip across the southern states of America in inimitable Top Gear style. Along the way they encounter extreme heat, flies and some very angry locals at a petrol station. The Bugati Veyron is taken for a high speed spin in Germany, James May and Richard Hammond attempt to build a space shuttle out of a Reliant Robin and Jeremy Clarkson introduces a Renault Espace to a high speed locomotive - all in the name of promoting railway safety of course.

    Summary

Season 10 promises to be the most ambitious yet, with challenges that only the very brave - or the very stupid - would dare to undertake. There'll be some serious car journalism in there too with exhaustive road tests of the latest models; look backs at the history of motoring; man versus machine experiments and weekly power tests featuring the world's most exotic super cars.

    Summary

In Season 11 the stunts are no less crazy or original. Jeremy, James and Richard attempt to build a better police car for just $2400; they race across Japan in a Nissan GT-R; break down a few too many times in three sub-$1,600 Alfa Romeos and invent a new sport: fox-hunting with a Daihatsu Terios 4x4. Richard attacks the test track in Mazda's remarkable Furai concept car and the team also attempts to beat their German rivals in a series of gruelling automotive tests.

    Summary

Season 12 kicks off with a crash when Jeremy, Richard and James buy second-hand trucks to become HGV (heavy goods vehicle) drivers - much harder than they thought. They travel to the USA to take three new generation big-engine 'muscle' cars on an epic road trip from San Francisco to Utah and are challenged to drive from the heart of Switzerland to the North West coast of England on just one tank of gas. James travels to the frozen North to discover why the Finns are such good race drivers.

    Summary

Season 13 of this BAFTA-winning show skids, roars and explodes its way back onto the screen, with man versus machine experiments, exhaustive road tests of the latest models, some serious car journalism, a look back at the history of motoring, weekly power tests featuring the world's most exotic super-cars and a surprise revelation. The tried-and-tested Top Gear favorites are also back, including 'the news'; and 'The Star in the Reasonably Priced Car' feature, in which The Stig puts the rich and famous through their paces out on the test track. Motoring has never been so much fun.

    Summary

Now for the first time in HD, Season 14 of the world's biggest car show takes to the skies as James makes a DIY airship - out of a caravan. Back on the ground, Richard races airport machinery down a runway to solve the problems of air travel. Then, in their biggest adventure yet, the boys venture into the Bolivian rainforest armed only with a few heavily used 4x4s where they face such challenges such as El Camino De La Muerte - 'The Road of Death'. Meanwhile, The Stig is loose on the track in the Audi R8 V10, the Mercedes SLS and the Lexus LFA. Don't miss the most action packed season yet!

    Summary

Jeremy and Richard host a star-studded tea party to say farewell to the Reasonably Priced Car, the Chevrolet Lacetti, and welcome the new successor, the deeply affordable Kia Cee'd. James attempts to drive up Iceland's most famous active volcano; Jeremy asks why there aren't more three-wheeled cars in the world; and Richard races a modified VW Touareg against a pair of extreme snowboarders. There's an emotional tribute to the classic British sports car and Stig sets some blistering power laps in the Chevrolet Camaro, Aston Martin Rapide and Bentley Continental Supersports on the TG test track.

    Summary

Richard Hammond travels to South Africa to find out if the Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet can cover a standing mile before a VW Beetle dropped from a mile up in the air hits the ground. Jeremy Clarkson pits the Jaguar XJ against the speed of the sun in an overnight race from Land's End to Folkestone and James May becomes Captain Fast when he takes to the track in the new Ariel Atom V8. The boys all head to Albania to test the Rolls-Royce Ghost, Mercedes S65 AMG and Bentley Mulsanne, but can they reach the border before the local police discover what they've got lurking in the boot?

    Summary

Season 17 of the world's biggest, silliest and most explosive car show sees Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May re-invent public transport with a car-based train, smash down buildings using surplus military equipment and celebrate the 50th birthday of the Jaguar E-type. The guys also head to Monaco to race fast hatchbacks around the legendary Grand Prix street circuit, create a title sequence for an imaginary 1970s detective show, and find things to do in Lincoln while waiting for an electric car to recharge.

    Summary

In season 18 of the world's most extreme car show, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May drive supercars across Italy, make a movie car chase, re-invent the mobility scooter, get soaking wet in track day cars and pay tribute to Saab. They also go motor racing for less than the cost of playing golf, investigate the Chinese car industry, immerse themselves in the world of NASCAR, and drive a brand new Ferrari through a snow field.

    Summary

Season 19 sees Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May use the Aston Martin Vanquish, SRT Viper and Lexus LFA for an incredible American road trip that takes in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and a race against some fighter planes before ending with a hair raising run to the Mexican border. The trio also create a unique car designed especially for old people, and race a Shelby Mustang GT500 against a train in order to find the fastest way to get from Britain to Italy.
